Matt Coated Paper is light weight, high quality, smooth surface, universal inkjet coated paper with high colour brightness. Ideal for presentation of CAD plans and lightweight colour display work.
GDS Matt Coated 100gsm Paper is light weight, high quality, super smooth surfaced, coated paper which is perfect for producing prints with a higher end feel than basic uncoated paper. It is ideal for client presentations when you need your line drawings and designs to have that extra special edge. Coated paper has an invisible layer on the surface (like a super fine matt varnish) which grabs the wet ink as it hits the page during printing and keeps a ‘tight’, bright & vivid print to add to the soft, smooth feel when handled. This paper will take a little more ink than basic uncoated 80gsm and 90gsm ones, meaning you can use this grade to print colourful designs with a slightly heavier ink load, than line drawings, small photo images, colour fills and better quality line drawings.
Our GDS brand rolls are made for us by outstanding manufacturers including Océ, Canon and Xerox to give you the very best quality at the lowest price possible.

Whether you need TM-300 CAD paper (uncoated basic plain white paper) for printing technical drawings and layouts, TM-300 Presentation paper (coated with a unique inkjet layer to give a higher quality print), TM-300 Heavyweight paper, or TM-300 Photo Paper to make sure your images look tip top, we can pinpoint the roll or sheet pack for you.We have put together a selection of the most popular rolls and sheets for you to choose from, with total peace of mind for excellent print results.
Most of the rolls we suggest for the Canon TM-300 printer are supplied on a 2 inch core (50mm) (this is the tube in the centre of the paper roll which slides onto the printer spindle) – cores come in two standard sizes 50mm (2″) and 76mm (3″) and the Canon TM-300 can handle both 2 and 3 inch cores – just use the core adaptors that come with the printer to use thelarger 3 inch core rolls. In fact one of the most popular rolls for everyday technical drawings is a 841mm x 175mt 75gsm plain uncoated A0 size paper roll (and 594mm A1 size), which falls within the max 15cms roll diameter, comes on a 3 inch core and is great for avoiding changing the roll too often, meaning you can load up and get on with printing. A roll like this will produce approx. 147 x A0 drawings!
Our TM-300 paper range should give you a paper product that is suitable for any of your print jobs. Our most popular papers are:
The TM-300 is an A0 size (36″) floorstanding printer, one of the neatest A0 printers in the Canon imagePROGRAF wide format range. It can take rolls up to 36″ wide / 914mm and up to 175mts long (15cms diameter). The Canon TM-300 can also handle sheets – these need to be loaded individually. Here is an overview of the standard sizes of wide format paper rolls and sheets and the size of prints you can use them for. Sizing varies between traditional CAD sizing where true ISO sheet size is required from rolls, and graphics sizing which is almost always oversized. Where a roll accommodates 2 sizes you can print both by simply turning your print to landscape.
