A simple to use, accurate and efficient 44 inch large format multifunction inkjet printer built for the most exacting CAD, GIS and Poster production assignments. The Lucia TD ink system offers water resistance and UV fade resistance meaning users can be sure to supply low cost, long lasting, vibrant prints to their clients. As with any water based print, short term outdoor use is possible on the correct media, but over laminating is an option for longer outdoor or extra scratch and water resistance.

The TX-3000 T36 MFP is available as a single roll device or with an optional dual roll. This allows the user to either have two grades or two sizes of paper loaded ready for printing, or the second roll can be used as a ‘take up reel’ meaning that finished prints, instead of being cut and falling into the basket, can be automatically rolled onto the second reel (inward or outward) ready to be retrieved later for convenient finishing and trimming. As with all Canon roll fed machines, you can use both 2 or 3 inch core rolls and Canon recommend 90mt as the longest roll length – we find that with the lighter weight papers such as 75gsm, the larger 150mt length rolls can fit too.

The single footprint of this compact, quiet device means it wil fit easily and unobtrusively into most office environments giving your workgroup instant access to wide format prints and copies. The T36 CIS colour scanner sits above the TX-4000 printer and lifts up to allow access to the print to change paper and open the top lid. Developed specifically for this MFP, the T36 36 inch wide scanner offers a scanning speed of 6 inches per second in colour and can handle originals up to 2mm in thickness with a maximum resolution of 1200dpi.

The simple to operate touchscreen ‘All in One’ Controller makes for easy operation by any user.

The TX-4000 T36 MFP comes with a set of 5 inks ready to print, and takes cartridges in three sizes as shown below. These can be mixed sizes so you could for instance choose the larger Matte Black and the smaller colours – often a popular choice. The TX-3000 printer ink cartridges are ‘hot swap’ which means they can be changed whilst the machine is printing saving you valuable time and avoiding wasting paper.
