Double Matt Drafting Film

Inkjet Double Matt Drafting film is similar in appearance to traditional tracing paper – we refer to it as ‘plastic tracing paper’. Its polyester base makes this product stable and tear resistant. It gives sharp blacks and great line density and is suitable for both mono and colour applications.

GDS Double Matt Drafting Film is available in 110 microns or 160 microns rolls. It has an inkjet coating on the front side and a drawing layer on the reverse side, allowing for corrections to be made on the film. It is popular amongst Engineers and Architects for drawings and plans and for pattern fabrication cutting and mixed media artwork.

Other commonly used names for drafting film are – DesignJet Film, Acetate, Polydraw, Mylar, Permatrace and Dura-lene.

This product is suitable for printing on most wide format aqueous inkjet printers. GDS also have a full selection of Drafting Films for Manual Drawing and Pen Plotting if you do not intend to print.

If you need advice just call us – 01625 613548.
